When I got there, it wasn’t perfectly clean, but who am I to care for such a price? I don’t know what everyone else is complaining about. The room was cleaner than my apartment back home and I got extra towels within minutes of calling for them. I’m not too picky when it comes to amenities or chic lobbies and what not. But one thing I really want in a hotel is a good location. I hate being a foreign city and not being close to wherever I want to go. I came into town for shopping and a few museums and this place did not fail to impress. Within walking distance was Times Square, fifth avenue, Koreatown, the MoMA and an eight-story Macy’s store off the top of my head. I am very confused as to where all these horror stories come from for this place. Whatever, all I can comment on is my own experience and mine was fine. The few minor issues are more than compensated for by the location and price.

I’m not too picky when it comes to posh amenities or chic lobbies and what not. But one thing I really want in a hotel is a good location. I hate being a foreign city and not being close to wherever I want to go. This is why I chose Hotel Pennsylvania and it’s why I liked it. I came into town for shopping and a few museums and this place did not fail to impress. Within walking distance was Times Square, fifth avenue, Koreatown, the MoMA and an eight-story Macy’s store off the top of my head. The New York subway seemed scary to me at first, but when I journeyed downtown to SoHo and Chinatown, Penn Station was right across the street from the hotel and every train led there. To top all that, the room was a decent price and very spacious. Double thumbs up for anyone who wants to stay where the action is!

Hotel was much better than I was expecting after having ready many negative reviews. My room was clean and the hotel was in a great location. Having Penn Station so close made it super easy to get around the city. The price was right and I would definitely come back.
