Is it cheaper to book with NewYorkCityHotels.com than other websites?

How do I book a hotel reservation?
You will be guided through the online booking procedure through a series of very simple steps which will  enable you to make your reservation. Our web site has been designed to make this process as easy as possible.

Can I make my hotel booking by phone?
Yes. You can call us at the phone numbers provided on the site. Our knowledgeable travel consultants will help you book the hotel or trip package that fulfills all of your requirements.

When I search for a hotel, it says “No Availability”. What does this mean?
This means that this hotel is fully booked for at least one of the dates you selected or the room configuration you have requested is not available. This usually occurs during the busy travel season or during special event periods.

How do I cancel a reservation?
Cancellations can be made thru the link at the bottom of your email reservation confirmation (best method) or you can send us an email at reservations@newyorkcityhotels.com and your request will be given to our reservations department. Cancellations within a day of your planned arrival may result in a one-day room charge.

Will I get charged for cancelling a reservation?
Unfortunately there is a labor cost for us to cancel a reservation. This cost can be anywhere from $6 to $30 depending on the total reservation cost. Cancellation charges allow us to offer you the lowest hotel rates available.

Do you offer hotel reservations and travel packages etc. worldwide?
Yes, we do. You will find our pricing to be extremely competitive on over 75,000 hotels in all cities (large or small) around the globe…but we obviously specialize in travel deals for New York City.

Do you provide wheel chair accessible and pet friendly hotel choices?
Yes, we do. If you look in our search box area under Special Features, you can check either of these choices (along with others) to find hotels that fulfill these requirements.

I need to arrange car parking at the hotel. How much does this cost?
For car parking arrangements, please contact the hotel directly.

How can I obtain an invoice for my hotel stay?
Once you have completed your booking, we will send you an email invoice (confirmation) of your reservation.

Payments & Rates

When will my credit card be charged?
Your credit card will be charged immediately after you have confirmed your reservation.

Do you accept credit cards with international billing addresses?
Yes, we do. The address you provide us when you are booking the reservation must match exactly the billing address for your credit card. There can be NO deviations between the 2 addresses.

Which credit cards do you accept?
We are happy to accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover cards.

What currencies are shown on your site?
You can choose to view prices in over 160 world currencies (see our search box). Our Dynamic Currency Conversion service will show you the rate for your local currency and US Dollars, but is only available for Visa and MasterCard reservations. The currency exchange (to US Dollars) is completed at the time of booking, and is typically less expensive for our customers than currency conversions performed by banks or credit card companies. Exchange rates are updated electronically every day. Your email confirmation receipt shows the transaction in the selected currency and US Dollars.

I don't have a credit card, can I pay cash to the hotel upon my arrival?
We do not accept payment by cash or check. Only a credit card is an acceptable form of payment.

Are the hotel prices shown on your site per person or per room?
The hotel rates displayed on our site are per room rates.

Will there be any additional charges for facilities at the property?
Some properties may impose daily or weekly charges for parking, safe deposit boxes, air-conditioning or gym / leisure facilities and where these are confirmed to us, we will always display them in the hotel overview area - if you have any doubts, please check with guest services on arrival.
